Hour or Two

Paint horse shoes for Discovery

Discovery courses boost the confidence, life skills and life chances of young people suffering with behavioral problems and poor mental health.

HorseWorld run these pioneering courses with help of our rescue horses, which assist in building positive experiences for students outside of mainstream education.

At the end of each course, students are given a decorated horseshoe, along with their certificate and rosette.

We need volunteers to come to HorseWorld to paint and decorate the horseshoes so we have enough for every student.

What's involved?

All equipment and materials will be provided for you - all you need is an hour or two to come to the yard at HorseWorld and get creative! Make sure you bring an apron or wear clothes you don't mind getting paint on.

Why get involved?

Discovery is a groundbreaking programme that changes the lives of young people within the South West. With your help, we can create lasting memories by giving them a special horseshoe to take away with them to remind them of their time at HorseWorld.

We have a limited number of staff working in our Discovery team, so every hour of your help given to paint the horseshoes frees up time for them to spend with students who need one to one attention.
